About me as a breastfeeding supporter:
I breast fed my three children and became an even greater supporter when I started teaching breastfeeding in my Lamaze classes, the more I taught, the more strongly I wanted to help mothers with their breastfeeding goals. Over the years, I saw, and still see pregnant women and nursing mothers with breastfeeding questions and concerns. I would be very happy to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals.

Credentials/Experience:
Taught breastfeeding in Lamaze classes for over 25 years.
Trained and certified by UCLA as a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE) 1997.
Trained by University of California at San Diego (UCSD) in lactation 2004-2005.
Lactation coordinator at local Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) for 9 years.
Trained by Healthy Children’s Center for Breastfeeding as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2005.

My breastfeeding services:
• I serve the area from Merced to Turlock, California
• Prenatal visits – to help you plan strategies for feeding, pumping and returning to work/school
• Hospital visits – assessments, latching on, comfort measures, and other breastfeeding concerns
• I teach a 3 hour breastfeeding class at Mercy Medical Center Merced, once a month
• Home visits – assessment, latching on, comfort measures, and other breastfeeding concerns
• Telephone and email support and local referrals

Fees:
Fees are determined on an individual basis.
